For over 20 years, Meridian Group of South Florida, Inc. has been surveying and mapping all over the State of Florida.
Founded in 1990 by Joseph Trott and his father, Chester Trott, Meridian Group merged a wealth of experience and skill into a company that has earned a remarkable reputation as a leading surveying and mapping firm.
Meridian Group has seen abundant growth and enormous acceptance from the public that requires its services and is committed to operating with a quality foundation of unwavering ethics and quality results.

Through more than a few booms and busts in the real estate and development market, Meridian Group has continued to be the local surveyor for clients across Southwest Florida. A keen local insight and backyard knowledge of the area makes Meridian Group the clear choice when measured against survey brokers based and owned out-of-state.

Leadership

Meridian Group of South Florida, Inc. is led by Mr. Joseph Trott, PSM, principal and Mr. E. Chester Trott.
Joseph has extensive experience in surveying and mapping and has directed numerous surveying projects throughout the State of Florida. Joseph is a member of ACSM and NSPS and has been licensed in the State of Florida since 1992.
Chester has been licensed to practice surveying and mapping in the past in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Nevada, and New Mexico. Chester is recognized as a local expert on Charlotte County's existing infrastructure through his previous employment with the county's largest developer, General Development Corporation. He is currently semi-retired.

Field to Finish

Our field crews are equipped with Trimble GPS and Robotic surveying instruments while our office runs on the latest Autodesk Civil 3D design and drafting software to provide the services you need. A program of continued education assures efficient synchronicity between the field and the office.
